A Big Ol’ Thanks to two local radion stations (Joy 88 and V100) for helping me out with some airplay this past weekend.
Scott from Joy 88 had me in studio on Saturday where we talked it up about Build Yourself A Boat and what not - He even let me play Backburner and Treading Water! Thanks a million to him and to Chester for calling in and giving us some love.
Thanks also to Forrest at V100’s local and new music show “Download” for playing Stargazer and giving a bunch of promo to the show this friday -
You guys rock my world —
Thanks again!

The other night I had the oppertunity to watch a disturbing and eye-opening documentary titled, “Invisible Children.” It details three guys who to the Sudan and get footage of the war that’s going on there. When they arrive they find that there story is not in the Sudan but in Uganda, the country south of the Sudan. Uganda took in a great deal of Sudan refugees and is caught up in its own war where rebels are trying to overthrow the government. While the whole country is in turmoil, the documentary focuses on the Ugandan children. The rebel army is regularly kidnapping children from their homes and training them to be soldiers. They are brutally taught to either kill or be killed. They have created a whole army of these children some as young as 4 or 5. The video contains shocking footage of thousands of children who flock to the cities and sleep outside crammed like sardines in total fear of being taken from their homes.
It’s a story that you would expect to have heard about by now since it has been going on for years. However, these three guys and a slew of other young people that have been affected by this story are making it known through this documentary. Coming soon there will be a feature film detailing the filmmakers going back to Uganda and diving deeper into the problem. There are many ways to get involved. I would atleast recommend you get ahold of the video and get educated on what is happening. Check out the website: Invisible Children. For those of you in Topeka there will be a showing Saturday April 1st at Fellowship Bible Church - 7 PM and another one TBA at Washburn University. If you’re not in Topeka, find out what’s going on in your town. Get your hands on this - we need to know about such tragedies so we can be active to stop them.

Quite possibly the funniest television show ever put on the air is officially dead after 3 beautiful seasons. A fond fairwell to the entire crazy Bluth family. We all wish that Arrested Development could have lasted longer - but we are left with all the goodness you gave us while you could. Even so… they’ve made a huge mistake…
